A photograph showing the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall in Singapore, 晚晴园. The beautiful white building in the tropical garden is a local historic and architectural landmark. A bronze sculpture of the great man can be seen in front of the house. The memorial hall building, a large antique bungalow mansion house, was used by Sun Yat Sen (Father of Modern China) and his supporters as their major southeast asian headquarter when they were plotting the revolution in China to over throw the Manchurian Qing dynasty rulers. House contains many important historic artefacts related to the Great Man and his inner circle from the region of southeast asia. The beautiful bungalow house is now preserved as one of the main heritage tourism site in Singapore for visitors interested in history. It is recorded in history that the first flag to the new China republic was sewn at this location.
