Driving down I-10 in Texas, I saw these ruins sitting off the freeway like some sort of ancient temple in the middle of nowhere. An engraving above the main door told me that they were once Kent Public School. Bits of charcoal and ash made me think it might have burned down some time ago. The town of Kent is now all but nonexistent.
