The annual Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highlands Festival is a popular event in Estes Park, Colorado, USA. It attracts performers, athletes, and spectators from around the world. It also hosts the U.S./International Jousting Championship Competition in which two knights on horseback, armed with 13' long lances, gallop down the lists toward each other and score points by unseating their opponent or striking the shield.
