The best search engine in stock photography just got better. A large stock photography database means nothing if the results of any given search are not accurate, relevant and supplying a good amount of results. The size of the database shouldn't limit the access of contributors to exposure in front of the buyers. There is no such thing as saturation of images if the search engine is designed properly and works smoothly.
And because anything can be improved, we've just added a few more features to our Dreamfinder. Some will be used by most buyers, some by just a few. We believe that the current release includes all suggestions we received from our members in the past months and hope you will enjoy it!
Users can search after exclusive images (from partially exclusive contributors or fully exclusive), after predominant color within an image (primary and secondary). Also, you can search after images without any identifiable persons or only among your favorite photographers (assuming you added many of them and want to search only the shooting style you like).
You'll find the above under the appropriate tabs of the Advanced search, marked as NEW.

I honestly think that DT had the best seach engine in the microstock business, but it can be improved even further, why not? |

I'm guessing from this it would be useful to add 'no people' to my keywords, where appropriate? Is that a common search term?

If you add "no people," the search engine separates all words by comma and you will have no, people. If someone searches images with people, they will come across your images on the search result pages - which would be completely irrelevant.

I hope my question is not taken negatively because I certainly don't mean it that way. But does this statement of yours above mean that the rejection for "too many of this particular image" will go away? |
