We rely on their wisdom for guidance, on their authority to keep families joint, on their kindness for comfort. They are our parents or grandparents and while they have always backed us up, we now want them up in front.
Show your family elders and seniors having fun, looking after the youngsters, working, relaxing, exercising or even playing computer games. Show them surrounded by happy grandchildren, mowing the lawn, greeting family members at the Thanksgiving dinner table or jogging accompanied by their pets. Essential intergenerational links, seniors need our care and support in their turn so do not overlook images with adults tending them, teens bringing gifts or families simply showing affection and love for their elders.
Best images and creative efforts will bring money on Dreamstime branded MasterCard cards for the first three most talented and voted for contest participants, courtesy of our online payment partner, Payoneer. First place winner will receive $1,000, second place $400 and third place $200 to spend wisely or cash from the card. All three winners will also receive the timeless, all ages Dreamstime designer T-shirts. To learn more about the Dreamstime Prepaid MasterCard payment option, click here |

Yikes! Never thought I would be able to do a self-portrait and qualify for an assignment at the same time... Now that is scary! |

Organizing a shoot and pay outside models isn't worth the costs for microstock with its dwindling yield. It's fine if you have the shots already or you can beg free family for half a day. ;-) |

This could be fun...my kids love hanging with both their grandparents and great-grandparents. Maybe I can get Nonna to let me shoot her teaching the kids how to make gnocchi...! |

Maybe us old people can get together and sign model releases for each other. That might be kinda fun. A great group of the elderly contributors of DT! |

We have not really established an age limit. We recommend you also check on the Internet because it seems to vary. Some say it starts at 60, other at 55 or even 65. Example here |

I did some self portraits using a remote and tripod. Some have sold. I couldn't get anybody else to pose - they were too worried about how they looks. Hey, I've earned my senior status and love every minute and every smile line. Go to work on yourself! |

Hello Tangie: I sent 9 photos for this assignment, and all they are rejected by no model release (and for other reasons). However, all were sent with model release. I wanted to forward, and could not. Says "You have reached the maximum upload limit for this assignment." How to fix this? I sent email to support, but I need a more public response. Thanks Tangie, and sorry my complicated English!

Question:
Do the models need to fill in a special Exlusive MR for this assignment? Sorry, have not done this for a while, don't know where to look for the info.
Similar images to the one submitted to DT for the assignment: what si considered being similar & cannot be submitted as non-exclusive - images of the same group of people, images of the same group of people from the same series, eg. smiling & sitting on the bench... Just don't want to do something wrong!
Thank you
Luba

Hi Lvnel,
About you first question: you can use a normal Model Release for the assignment images. An exclusive Model Release is needed only in the sell the rights case.
You can find more details here.
As for your second question: if you have similar or identical concept, you shouldn't sell to other agencies. It is not a question of the same models or group of models or similar images.
Please, read more here. |

Thank you for answering my question. So if I submit exclusively, the shots from the same series as the exclusive image may be only submitted to DT? Do I understand it correctly.
