I know the 1D IV looks expensive, but I have shot with a 1D III, I can say that if the bank balance was bigger I'd get a IV tomorrow. It is not just an expensive toy, I normally use a 5D2 and the 1D series is in a different league when it comes to auto focus and handling etc. |

Great camera for those who shoot editorial subjects, especially sports.
I would think twice though before buying it to use only for commercial shootings (including stock). Maybe I'm just too used to the full-frame format :) |
