Am I dreaming or has the default search been changed into "downloads - descending" instead of "relevancy - descending" very recently, over the last couple of days? |

I haven't noticed that - but if you change it yourself it does remember for the next search. |

hmmm... you're right, didn't notice that before. Even when you log out and log in again, the system keeps using the last search format you used.
Which leaves me with a rather philosophical question: how do you know what the "real" default search is, once you changed it? You would have to check DT's announcements/policy or the message boards to be sure. Like me now ;-) |

nope, you can perform a search while you are logged off. I guess that would use the current default search.

Didn't even know you could perfom a search while being logged off... I'm kinda stupid, I guess. Anyway, even when searching while being logged off, the system keeps using the last search format used while being logged in. Seems like only totally new buyers or buyers/contributors who don't ever change the default search are absolutely sure what the default search is. I'm jealous of them ;-) |
