We have decided to temporarily switch from a daily upload limit to a weekly upload limit in order to make the submission process easier for our contributors. The change does not affect the number of images you can submit according to your approval ratio. The weekly limit only allows you to submit these images once a week instead of every day. For example, our currently upload limit is maximum 30 images per day. When switching to weekly limit, it would be maximum 210.

Images can still be uploaded in batches in your Unfinished files folder but the good news is that you do not have to submit daily but weekly.

The weekly limit is temporary as we are trying to determine which submission procedure is more convenient for contributors. Depending on results, we may go back to daily submissions.

Nice - this seems like it will be popular with the larger contributors or people who like to streamline workflow and submit one day a week... Way to listen to the contributors!!!

Thank you. It is a very good idea that allows us to be more concentrated in our work, because is not good to cut the job at the middel.

It gives us more play to index the pictures.

Regards.
I use to work with first line Nikon equipment.

Great! if there are to be limits, this makes much more sense than daily. Now we can concentrate, rather than having to make daily subs.

Please consider making this a permanent change - your review load should end up about the same, but contributors will benefit. I'd rather have longer review times than back to daily limits

+ 1 S Cascoly

I'm going to go with S Cascoly and all the others above.

Personally I'm not affected.

I can barely come up with 30 images a month, but this is about the agency and I want DT to do well.

It's a great move, it makes a lot more sense and it helps contributors with larger number of images to easily streamline their workflow.

Fingers crossed, you will never have to go back to daily limits ;)

Can you expand on how you think this is bad for new guys or those with many photos? For the people with many photos the weekly limit is the same, this just allows them to do the full upload at once, rather than having to submit a portion each day...
