Similar to our Facebook promotion tool, we added one for Twitter, as many of you requested. Besides the options available before, an AUTO feature will post your statistics automatically, without you having to visit our website.
Each action (download, upload, etc.) is posted separately. Take into account that if you have many downloads/uploads this option can be annoying to your followers. Use it with care!
A similar one will be launched for Facebook very soon.

I don't use Twitter a lot. Unfortunately, there are more posts from my followers than me, LOL! Why exactly does the permission allow Dreamstime to update my "profile"? I understand the posting tweets as those are the downloads/uploads. But I don't understand why access to update my profile is needed. |

An important question for me is;
How long does it take DT to tweet in AUTO mode, after a sale or accepted upload?
I ask this because, email notifications about image approvals reach after several hours and I always catch it on the DT website, so it's not useful for me. If the twitter update is instant (or close to instant) it would be great for me to catch up about what's happening in my account... |

Goodness!! Am I the only person in the world who doesn't get the point of twitter or facebook? Do serious buyers go to twitter to look for stock or do they come to great stock agencies like DT?
Let me know someone if your sales dramatically improve because of this new feature and then I'll do a rethink. |

Twitter and Facebook is like a platform to showcase your work. I have a twitter account but I wouldn't want to tweet every single photo upload though. It is like a PR and billboard tool. You never know who may click on your tweet. Facebook I rarely use. I second the motion for auto tweet of blog articles. I have a daily Wordpress blog and it automatically tweets the article. Sometimes referral do come in. Great work, DT Team! |

@Parkinsonsniper: nice, that would be a creative way to use this tool. Images should be posted soon after the review.
@Heathse: great products are disruptive because everyone talks about them. Viral marketing is an important asset of microstock and particularly for agencies with great user experience such as Dreamstime is. Twitter, Facebook and likes are part of this viral marketing. "Word of mouth" is more of a "read this post" nowadays. Just look how many people like this thread. |

Excellent, thanks Achilles! When this is set up for Facebook, will we be able to post on our facebook page instead of our profile page?
@Heathse, I generate lots of sales (from all over the place) from twitter and from my facebook page (not my normal account). You shouldn't just post these types of auto posts... you should socialise on there with other contributors, designers, buyers or whover.
For those of you who are afraid of pissing off your tweepies, you can do what I've done and set up a separate twitter account for automated posts like this one and other posts from RSS feeds. Then you can include your own seperate account on "Follow Friday" and you followers on your main page can review it and decide if they want to follow.
