Dear Designer,

I am in need of help with selecting photos for my website. I am a chiropractor whose scope of practice includes dance injuries, returning patients back to their former level (or better) of activity, maximizing athletic performance (dance, golf and the general athlete), and improving quality of life (getting rid of dysfunction that causes daily pain). I am looking for a set of 3- 5 pictures that have a similar look and feel that I could run one after the other (like flash presentation) on my home page with perhaps a caption accompanying them that would get people to understand what I can do for them.

I have a logo that I love with the following colors Green (0R/104G/56B) Brown (46R/12G/0B) and Yellow 192R/172G/37B) displayed at 90% opacity. We will be changing the level of opacity to use the colors throughout my website. You can see my logo at http://www.123chiropractors.com/IL/Geneva/Chiropractor_101364/ for Core Wellness Chiropractic and Anti-Aging Centre. I would like the photos to be visually compatible with my logo. Thank you for any help you can give. Sincerely, Patricia Zanelli

Hi Patricia,

Can you please mention if you would also like illustrations or just photos, and what is your deadline? Thank you for your well detailed request. :)

I am looking for photographs, only, in the same vein as the header at the following website: http://midwestbonejoint.com/Stanley/stanley.html, where I would place my own text and it would be in the body of the website. Thanks for any and all help.

Ah, so you really are after photographs of people not illustrations of the spinal areas which is what I was doing for you using one of your colours as a background.

Never mind I will upload them anyway as somebody else might want to buy them.

Good luck with your search.

Thanks for all the help! I can see why you each picked the images you did and I really appreciate the time and efforts of you all. This last set is getting the idea, but the beach setting and model with tattoos just isn't right for the midwest. That said, the last picture has some potential. It is action, and even though it is water, you don't get more of a sense of place, more the feeling of motion/activity. Even a set like this with ballet dancers in silhouette, bicyclists, injury and return to activity would be more what I am looking for. Thank you for some great images!

The above pictures are beautiful and they do have that continuity of look I am searching for. I think generally it is a great idea, but the focus would have to be on the people, not the scenery (although since I am in the midwest I would pick scenery that is possible there). Remember, I am helping people recover from injury, returning them to better function than they had prior to an injury, or maximizing their performance at a task (dancing or golfing) and I want 3-5 pictures showing these goals in pictures. I will add captions to get people thinking about where they are and how I can get them to a better place such as (but not exactly) Imagine...waking up without pain, etc. Hope this helps and thank you for the time you spent on this!.

Thank you, all, for your great photography and the time you put in to selecting them. I am still searching as the suggestions are great, but not exactly what I am looking for, yet! Thanks!

Hi:
I see you're looking for active sports photos - not sure if my suggestions make sense to you but here are a couple of images with people in silhouette:

   Colorful bubbles with hands sunset

   Colorful bubbles with hand sunset

And here are a couple with a Zen serene feel that a couple of chiropractors and acupuncturists have found to their liking in the past - you could use one interspersed with your active people images - your web master could crop them easily to fit a long narrow format :

Zen stones stacked at beach copy space

Waves single stone on sandy beach with copy space

And this one is sporty but with a mellow feel:
Newport Bridge Sailboat at Twilight Rhode Island

I have some runners but they are all editorial images. Hope these give you some ideas that you can use.
Best,
Marianne
