Link to blog with reference ID - ?

Androniques
Hi all,

Does anyone know how to make a link to a blog so that it includes my reference ID?
Could not find it on the Referral Program examples page... and simply adding &referrer=XX
with the correct number instead of XX does not work.

Thanks in advance!

That's probably because I've got not slightest idea, what are you
actually trying to do :) Be more clear ....

If you trying to make a link from outside website to one of your blog posts on DT and you want to use it as referral link, that I believe it is not possible.

Thanks for your reply, Teabum!
This is exactly what I tried to do... too bad to learn it's impossible.

Toooo sneaky :) and not really benefiting DT.

It's better to publish articles on your site and use illustrating photos/albums with referral link. You can also ad custom badges in the article recommending DT as a great source of images .... (just some ideas to kick around ;)

Why??? I totally disagree...
Any link to DT's page should be beneficial for the site and the community,. What's the difference, if I refer to my profile with ref ID or to my blog with the same purpose? I consider the second option even better as it has some extra meaningful content, also highlighting the DT's community life.

hmmmm, just my opinion
.... no need to have referral on such a link as it focuses on contributors not on buyers and brings smaller value than image promotion.

Should you feel like it would benefit your reader, you can ask them to register with your referral id placed beside the link.

but I don't seek to quarrel about my opinion, hence this is my last comment on this.
