Editorial?

Jmweb7
Do Editorials get priority in the queue? I am noticing a 60 hour wait for editorial images.

Given the fact that editorial can be breaking news, shouldn't this be quicker?

The editorials are usually reviewed faster than regular images. However, if you submitted editorial images taken during recent events, please email support, including the image IDs, asking for priority review.

My actual experience is that editorial images, for which is not explicity asked a priority review, will be revieved more slowly that RF images.

May be due to high volumes of editorials from big uploaders flooding in. Upload, fill in the blanks send to pending and forget about them for a while unless it's mega urgent then ask for a priority review :)

Happened to me too. Maybe a lot of photographers are uploading editorial. Maybe more than RF.

editorials earlier this year were taking around 24hours to get reviewed, now on average mine are not getting looked at in under 100hours. If its news worthy go for priority option otherwise as has been said already, do the necessary sit back and forget about them

I asked for priority review for a few of mine and they were done within a couple of hours.

In my experience, if you mail DT indicating that the shots are news relevant editorials then they are reviewed within a couple of hours. Unless you upload on Friday night then they still lie unreviewed over the weekend.....crazy but true.

Thanks for the tip about contacting support for editorial images. I have had them sit in under review status for almost a week.
