Level zero sale?

MilsiArt
Hi all!

I just noticed that I had level 0 sale...

Together with that sale I had other one from same credits date (2010) where I had level 1 sale.

Is it something normal regarding that it was credit sale and with new rules on image level options?

Thanks for participating here!

{Edit} Just to add: As I understood there is no more level 0 sales since few months ago... This might be some glitch or system error?

If you have an image that is over two years old (I think) that has no sales, it is automatically reduced to a level 0 image. An example of that would be your image number 9229258.

First sale of old image is 0 level, I understand, but why second sale again 0 level? (8939497)
Why second sale of new image again with 1 level like first? (24805584)
What happens, new rules again?

The second download for this image 8939497 was made by the same buyer. A different type of license was acquired and the extended license price would have been the same even if the image level changed. We keep the level of the first download for the same buyer to avoid the artificial increase of levels and the sudden price change. We had cases when buyers downloaded an image with the RF license to see if it fitted their project and then tried to re-download it under SR-EL. We have many duplicate downloads and the price change may appear baffling for buyers if they wish to re-download, under the same or a different license.

The second image was again downloaded twice by the same buyer, hence no level difference. These were subscription downloads and these downloads are always at a flat fee, regardless of image level.

Hope this clarifies.

That's clear, Tangie. Thanks. But I have just sale (ID 18318105) which is indicated in the table as level 0. Though the image is leval 1, since it was uploaded in February, 2011 (less than 2 years ago).

I also had a level 0 sale (ID 19044435) on 12-Sep for an image which was less than 2 year old, and this is not the first time it has happened since April/May when all images newer than two years should have been at level 1.

I have several level 0 as well. Some as old as four years. I thought they removed the pictures with zero downloads after a certain amount of time (two years?) Can anyone advise?

There has been a change in policy since this thread was started. Now any unsold image will drop to level zero after 6 months, previously it was 2 years.
