What's acceptable...?

Hello....I'm new and after numerous rejections, I had a dumb question. :) I guess I can't figure out how some images are accepted with company names and logos, such as: Facebook, McDonalds, storefronts, etc. I ended up with a hodge-podge in my portfolio...still figuring all this stock stuff out. I'm stubborn, and will not give up. :) I don't get how some images have a year and make on a automobile description and the emblems are on the vehicle and everything, and they get accepted. Thanks for your time and input....

When you're in the Unfinished Files area, you have 3 options to submit the files: Commercial Royalty Free, Commercial Royalty Free with no keywords or Editorial.

If you have pictures with logos, visible people (but no model release), protected designs or artwork, and think they may have Editorial value, you can send them to Editorial.

Pictures submitted to RF don't always get transferred to Editorial if they can't be sold as Royalty Free. As you can see in the link provided by Nospmisk, this happens only in rare cases ("Under some circumstances").

So, my suggestion is to perform a research first, then to be careful into which section you submit your pictures, Royalty Free or Editorial.
