Copyright on bankrupt company

Pedroec
I am thinking of uploading a photo of a miniature KODAK van. As I hear Kodak is now bankrupt, does the copyright rule still apply?

I'm sure it does but you can upload it as news without a release.

Yes, the copyright/trademark still applies.

Someone always owns the copyright. Kokak name still has value. Look at all of those products you see with "Polaroid" slapped on them. It still has brand recognition and means "instant, coloful, fast" to some people so it has value. Anything of value is owned by someone.

I uploaded some miniature cars. They are Porsche cars but I removed the logo. I was able this way to submit them as a normal RF stock.

Otherwise find a story about Kodak and submit them as Editorial.

Bogdanzagan, those Porsche cars are still copyright. I'd suggest you disable them and submit the originals to the editorial section.
The reviewer can miss a copyright such as this, as not all cars can be recognized simply by form.

Hello Nikitu, the miniature car does not have Porsche logo on it. I was referring about the toy company logo. I'm not 100% sure that the miniature car it's a Porsche since it is a vintage convertible car.

The Porsche cars are copyright as a whole, it is not just he logo that is copyright. The goes for Ferrari cars. If you are certain it is not a Porsche then they are fine but otherwise you should research them and find out.

Ok, thank you for the information, I will research ... but for now looks just like a toy car and not like a real one. I'm not very good with cars but if I discover that is really a Porsche I will do as advised.
