What happened to Acceptance Ratio (AR)?

Risto40
I wonder is it just me whose acceptance ratio does not show correct number any more? I discovered this a few days ago while uploading 2 images, one got accepted and the other was refused. I keep track myself of the AR in excel too, and based on this my AR should have stayed at 52.x%. But somewhy the AR shown on the profile page fell to 48.x%. Does anyone know if there have been changes in the calculation formula (i.e. changing the period based on which it is calculated)?

I've never noticed any discrepancies, but then again I haven't sent anything in the last couple of weeks or so. I wouldn't obsess with the AR figure itself, but just use it as one of a few guidelines to see if you're improving or not. Although granted a sudden 4% drop doesn't help much in this.

The AR isn't really updated very frequently I guess. Maybe twice a week or something like that.
I'm not sure about the formula but I think if you resubmit a file...say 4 time, it would affect your AR.
That's what I feel. Because simple accepted photos/total uploads *100 doesn't give the AR. Maybe you resubmitted some photos?

I also have an axcel file with all my stats and my A.R. is correct. Maybe it is an error (and you should contact support after the holidays). Have you considered also disabled files?

I am aware of how the AR is calculated and my calculations have matched DT's figure since 2007 I joined DT.

I contacted support but they are probably having holidays too. I was just wondering is it just me whose number is incorrect or is it wider problem here. I'll wait and see what they say..

1 accepted and 1 rejected does not mean AR stays the same. There is something here that may make sense :) AR.

Yeah they have holidays I suppose. Let them. Don't expect much until New Year. I feel that review speed has significantly come down this whole week. The photos I had accepted lately were "under review" for a long time. Unusually long.

An image uploaded, rejected, fixed and reuploaded will count as two uploads so it will affect your AR
