Maybe some contributors have switched from another agency following the response to a certain dodgy deal with Google. That could explain the surge in submissions.

What I've been puzzled and frustrated about regarding submissions in the last not so few months, is that my images seem to be lagging behind. If I look in the Latest section, the newest images have an ID of over 200,000 than the ID of my pending images. Consequently when my images get finally reviewed and approved, they show way back in the Latest Images pages (beyond page 100). That explains why my new images get no views these days when a while ago, my new images always used to have views pretty immediately. They now seem to only get viewed when they're called through the search engine. Obviously something has changed in the reviewing process. It seems to me that some contributors get priority reviews - maybe something to do with new comers and batches of images.

well more and more pics get uploaded so I reckon they just have plenty to do, especially now when everyone wakes up from their Christmas break - I honestly don't really count the days but instead load up pics as usual - they will catch up sooner or later, so I wouldn't worry to much about that - I reckon all our sales will "freeze" or even break away if we just upload the quantity and quality as usual - the competition is getting stronger with every month

My sales are a little bit slower than last month but I got more credit sales so the profit is the same. Wait time for approving is a little longer. My new images got views in the same speed.

Firstly you need to increase your portfolio size. There are new contributors that have uploaded close to 400 does in last 4 months or so.....more files better exposure. Sales will pick up soon enough. Upload more files...my sales started increasing a lot when i hit the 250 mark. Good luck

Yes Miraclemoments, I am aware of that! But that is exactly the issue, the ETR is so much slower than before... I have 23 files waiting for nearly 10 days while before 10 days would be enough to aprove or reject those 23 files...

I do agree with all of you, but wouldn't Dreamstime be able to hire more personal to take care of this issue without even being noticed? Aren't they big enough? As a title of example, I am not an exclusive contributor and in another stock site where I sell (********) which is a very big Dreamstime competitor and there, not only with a smaller portfolio I have nearlly the double of the sales but as well my files wait maximum 4 days to be approved or rejected...

I don't really get what is going on here...

I agree with Rosedarc. Currently the contributors at GI/IS are deactivating thousands of files and I would bet a good chunk of them are coming here for approval. Also, there are some there who are giving up their exclusive membership as well, so they can now duplicate their portfolios here. That will continue through D Day, or Deactivation Day, on February 2, over there. I think the Dreamstime inspectors are going to be very busy for a long time.

I guess I'm doing quite well with sales so far, but time has increased for submissions... I hope this changes soon.

Increased times for submissions would not be such a problem if submission times were the same for all contributors but some photos jump the queue and the gap is huge and getting even bigger. That most certainly has an impact on the visibility of new images. I actually find this unfair for old and loyal contributors.

In the DT has for many years, and here the picture very unsatisfactory sales! More recently, DT is bad, review the documents cycle more and more long, I upload the 15 days of file not review! Some administrators is very poor! Not fair to each member, slowly to DT lost credit!

I have also experimented this gap between my pending photo IDs and the IDs of images in the latest upload section. Some time I noted also that a photo is reviewed and approved very quickly while some other remains for a long time in the review stage or return pending without a reason. And also for me sales decreased from the beginng this year.
