We're excited to announce the release of our redesigned header and footer areas, a change that has been long overdue.
The new design is much optimized, aligned with today's requirements and entirely re-written. For functionality reasons, it's still using the same structure as the old header and footer, as we preferred to allow the community to adapt easily to the new layout and to avoid interfering with any workflow.

The layout is now centered and many pages will soon begin to be redesigned using the new structure. The first element you will notice changed for the time being is the lightbox area that already features a new floating panel (give it a try from the search results or image pages). There is more than meets the eye as the code was entirely modified and we're still working.

As usual, you're invited to navigate the new layout and give us your feedback. Please send any glitches you might come across to our support service. Since the code interacts with all pages of the website, you may find problems in areas that don't seem to relate directly to the header.

We bring you dreams, you make them happen. Enjoy the new Dreamstime layout!

Later edit: please include specific browser/OS versions when reporting glitches. Thank you.
Update: The new layout is now available for all users who visit the site, logged in or not.

It is looking good, but the management area link is missing from the central portion of the screen and is a little annoyng to go into the upper area all the time. Also i see that "edit profile" is missing? The rest seems to me ok good job.

For me, visually it is not as aesthetically pleasing as the former design... the graphics lack life. I do like the new upper right tab.

Nice new layout, as far as I,m concerned, its heartening to see continual innovations here on DT. In this day and age, if you stand still, your behind!

Nice new look. There are a few glitches to iron out - such as I can't see the Royalty Free, Editorial etc check boxes in the search section (I can just see the top of the writing) but otherwise looking good so far!

I can see the check boxes for RF and Editorial but not for 'only with people' box.
Also everytime I change page the tabs at the top click off of Contributors area and onto Categories.
I like the look of it apart from that

The numbers in the upper right corner are quite tiny in the new design. The previous font size was ok for me, but this is a really subjective matter.

New is good BUT.... I have to agree with Elenaray. And, the footer is much too gray comparing with the Dreamstime well known green color patterns, definitely too large, and it's covering part of the images. I can not figure it out what might be underneath.

When I'm in the photographer's profile window, because of the large footer, I can not see latest uploads, and the information that used to be on the right side. Am I the only one??

Just to say that the glitch I mentioned seems to now be fixed in my browser - which is Internet Explorer. All looks great and appears to be working well.

Why do I have to keep clicking on Contributors tab. Shouldn't it default to that tab after I've clicked on it once. Every time you click on any link you get taken back to the Categories as the active tab.
