I have never tried this. Will see what happens.
I usually do a sharpening of 25px for regio-specific contrast adjustment. It looks like a detailed image even though that's just a feeling.
Quality + details.

I have been using this for a couple of years, I find in step 4 the best results are with moving the slider to radius 10 px. as a good starting point. In fact I rarely move it off 10px.

I used high pass filter for 3 years. Ususally change layers blending from NORMAL to VIVID LIGHT. Looks more colourful than overlay. Try and share opinions.
