Micro industry is booming??

Fred11
Maybe, maybe not, but yesterday over a 24 hour period was the first day since I got involved with micro that I clocked in just over 900$ and in one single day, counting 6 micro sites. Fair enough there were a few large ELs but still.

This should be encouraging for newcomers, etc. It can be very rewarding indeed and yet, Im only an average fish in the pond.

Yes, I can confirm, I'm really impressed of the last month earnings, overall...

Besides regular selling there are other ways... one of my works was selected by an agency to be sold in a bundle.

I am serious about micro stock only for the past three months and I'm building ,y port right now. My only problem is what sells like hell on some agencies does not sale at all on others... So I have chosen the main place to focus, I don't have time (yet) for different ports.

I see, Fred11, on your profile page that you were the "Featured photographer between March 28, 2013 and April 4, 2013". Congrats on that!! Has that really increased your sales during that time. What was an average day for you before that? Just curious! Thanks! : )

In my OP, the sum of 900 dollars in one day was the revenue of 6 sites combined and including some ELs as well.

You mean if the being the featured photographer here at DT has increased revenue? well its hard to say, a bit yes. This has got a delayed effect really, buyers make bookmarks, etc and will for sure remember.
I think in perhaps three months time I could give a better answer.

Congratulations! The industries do have a huge demand for photos. I think that is one of the biggest factors, is it?
Yours is a very efficient portfolio. I have seen MANY business related articles or papers or ads that companies and construction industries use all the time. You have perfect photos to serve them. :)
