Bit Confused about Facebook

Sml
I signed up for facebook through DT and it seems to have worked, but when I log back into dreamstime it seems I have to reconnect each time. Do I have to log into facebook on DT each time?

Also are we allowed to post on dreamstime facebook page with our DT images?

thanks in advance. susan

Check the Dreamstime's page on Facebook. You can share images on Facebook in that way. But use your referral link. :)

I keep myself logged in to both Facebook and Dreamstime on Firefox. So it works smoothly. But check your authentication settings on Facebook. It should post sales by itself.

Robin,

So if I understand you I can go into DT facebook page and post one of my images using the referral links?

Do not know what you mean about authentication settings....do you mean change to public and not just friends on my facebook page? Sorry, I am do dense but thank you for you help.

Have you posted on DT facebook and if yes when so I can check it out?

Look HERE

See how Dreamstime posts images with watermark? They include a link where you can buy the image. You can post in that way. Post the image with a title or description, then post your referral link to the image and let it be seen by people. :)

That's how I got my few referred contributors (sadly, the reviewers probably freaked them out with rejections and they gave up. :(

And by privacy setting on Facebook, I meant...see if the promotion tool is allowed to post automatically on your wall. Make it public...even better. It doesn't put out any personal information. Just posts a link to whatever you sold.

I have mine set up as you describe, Robin, and it posted one sale when I first started contributing and nothing since. I, like you, stay logged in all the time to both.

For example on the 22nd I had a sale, it never posted to FB. Then this week I had 111 photos accepted, again no post.

I just double checked and everything is set up correctly... or so it seems.

Cjmgrafx,

I learned how to post to facebook a link.....but the facebook link on here when you have sale or a new upload does not work. For me.

Maybe admin can help us.

Yeah. Latest uploads don't get posted automatically. Which makes sense for me. Because 100 posts for 100 uploads would be spamming, almost.

The auto-post feature didn't work for me the first time. I had to enable-disable it a few times before it started getting on smoothly.
