Nikon D90 or D300?

catiamadio
Hello! I'd like some advice about one question... soon I'll have to choose between my D90 and an older D300, one of them will go on sale, which of them is best for me to keep? I know that the D300 is a pro camera but it has little older technology than the D90, and if I'm not wrong both of them have the same sensor...
Thanks!

Hi AMC,

I am by no way an expert, but I sold my D90 and bought a D7K. I do love the D7K. At this point I cannot afford a pro camera, but I do miss my D90 it was a great camera. If you can keep the D90 and buy and new pro....... or sell both and get the D800. Susan

infact, the idea is to buy a D800 and keep one of them as a second body... don't know which one yet...

If you will keep one of them as a second body, sell the D300 for sure. Because it's big and D800 will replace all of it's capabilities. D90 is small and light and it has the same image quality with D300 :)

Hi, I used d300 for several years: it's a great camera : fast AF and simple to use.
You can used it also 1600 ISO in sports indoor. For microstock it's perfect. take it !

...I hope it for you :-) and take also an old AF Nikon 60mm micro for your shooting.
In microstock the lens works very well and it's no expensive like another lens.
Bye!
