Submission question

Sleepylog
Hello everyone

I'm just wondering if it's OK to submit unretouched photos of people where all of their skin blemishes are visible? It might seem like a silly question but I don't see too many on this site so I'm not sure what the standards are in regards to this.

If the subject of the image is skin problems you can have a market for those images, but if the subject is another (e.g. business) we recommend you do some retouching first.
300v (film), assorted lenses ...

Hello Sleepylog,

I indeed think it depends also what kind of images you shoot. Of course if you are shooting glamour images or images that needs to show beauty or health of people you need to retouche it. If you shoot drugs addiction or alcoholistic photos then a unperfect skin could match or in case you are shooting for editorial images of people then basically it is also not necessary because it shows real life.
