Model Release

I recently had a set of pictures rejected because the photographer's portion of the model release was not filled out. It doesn't have to be. I'm the photographer. That portion of the model release gives the model permission to post the pictures to Dreamstime and doesn't have to be filled out when the photographer submits photos. Read it. It's obvious.

It even states that the copyright of the photographer should be presented with the image.

So now, due to someone's inability to understand simple legal documents I have to resubmit the images.

As a corporate attorney with over 25 years of experience approving documents and contracts, this really irritates me.

This is how we know that the model release was signed by the model for you as the photographer and not for someone else. We understand your opinion but these are our rules. That field is mandatory.
