Hi all,

Not sure if there's already a thread like this, but i though it would be nice for all to share where their images have been used, if you know, and also to share tips on how to search for your used images online. I've just found 1 of my images, by pasting the image and number info into google (image28762712). Is this the best method? I've also tried www.tineye.com, but it just searches for the exact image, and if it's been cropped, tineye won't work. any tips would be appreciated.

Here is the only image I have found online:

Vanilla image used

and how it is on my portfolio:

140,000 Contributors and a good blog (in the Blog section) might get 200 views.

Some of the best stock tips you will ever read are in the blogs.

But if you want a good tip: This is COMMERCIAL photography so shoot concepts that communicate an idea visually. Generic landscapes and head shots are poop.

I just gave away the secret to success in stock (for FREE, too!) and we'll be lucky if a couple dozen people read it and half of those who do actually execute.

Google image search can search by image itself - just drag and drop an image from your browser to the image search field of google.

I found quite a few of my images. Examples:

http://www.cadegis.com/en/projects.html
http://www.pmgroupuk.com/managed_hosting.aspx
http://www.grupoaeronet.com.br/content/cabeamento-estruturado
https://www.facebook.com/financialtimes - interesting - a photo of me ended up on Financial Times Facebook page! (the post from July 10th)

Overall, fewer than 10% of my photo sales can be found online.

Like many others I use Google Image Search.
I have created a folder on the desktop with my best selling images (including other agencies if applicable) to make it easier and quicker to find/upload.
I find it also helps if you make a copy of the original but saving it in a smaller file size...seems to upload quicker.
On the Google Images web page I then click on the camera icon to "search by image" , then "upload an image", and then browse to the special folder created on the desktop and click on the image to be searched.
Works for me!

Great pic Heywoody!! Looks really realistic! was that done in Vue? I've tried Vue, very powerful, but too expensive for me. I use Bryce sometimes now, it's ok but not as powerful and good as Vue.

What I found is often Google Image search finds different pages, depending on the size of the image you provide. Sometimes it finds more links when providing a tiny image (e.g. from the photo list on DT), sometimes you need to provide a larger image to find more links.

Thanks, there are some more online, when I find them I add the links to my "used pics list", but I'm on a different computer now.

I'm a tiny fish here, and it is not often that I found where the images have been used.
