How was your third quarter?

Pulsar124
I regularly see threads "how was your month?", but many people (like myself) have relatively few photos, so monthly stats are very noisy and not very informative about any DT's internal trends.

How about "how was your quarter?" thread? The stats are much more robust, so any trends should be more apparent.

The third quarter of 2013 just finished, so here is my summary: it was my best quarter ever (BQE), 25% more income than the previous record (Q1 of 2013). All three months I had a consistently good income, despite summer and everything. I hope this is a global DT trend - can anyone corroborate?

My stats for Q3 are: 42 sales (23 subs + 19 credit sales), RPD 3.05$, 23 accepted / 2 refused photos.

My stats for Q3 are 50 sales. 31 Subs plus 19 credit sales. RPD of 2.01 Total sales 100.58
My stats for Q2 were 34 sales 12 subs plus 22 credit sales. RPD 3.02 Total sales 102.78

So obviously a total turnaround and a massive increase in sub sales for Q3 resulting in less money for 16 sales more.

Maybe time to spread my wings and fly! jury is still out on this one!

My Q3 stats are: 26 sales, RPD: 1.52, total revenue: 39.47, accepted photos: 39 , refused photos: 2.

My Q2 states were: 19 sales, RPD: 0.91, total revenue: 17.34, accepted photos: 2, refused photos: 0.

It was much better in the case of Q3, but it used to be still better last year. But I must admit that I do not upload many photos and most of them are editorials/travel.

Quarterly view is a bit depressing actually. Revenue down about 17% on same quarter last year despite addong 103 new images (roughly a 25% increase) - the only real positive is only 1 rejection.

3rd quarter was great. I don't know how the other quarters could have been since I was on a stock hiatus for quite some time... ;)

Q2: 11 sales, RPD $1.04; 35 accepted, 11 refused

Q1: 4 sales, RPD .89, ZERO submissions

My quarters have been fairly flat for this year, but my 2013 Q3 was up 30% over 2012 Q3 - so no complaints from me!

I was in the same situation when I had only 100 online files like you. Please check again at 1000-2000 uploads and you will see only small jumps up/down. :)

Sales 278 Revenue $486.28 RPD $1.75

BUT: My portfolio is double than yours so this means that your photos are twice better than mine. So, please forget my advice about shooting people and go on your way, is better :)
