Multiple File Upload Not Working

Author Message
Message posted at 11/18/2013, 09:02:13 AM by Vincentstthomas
Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems with the multiple file uploader? When I click on it, it loads and everything looks fine, but it can't locate any JPEG files on my desktop or in any other folder. I also went to the Java website and updated my version of Java, but still no luck. No idea what's causing this, though I did upgrade to the new Mavericks operating system recently, so perhaps that's it. Anyone else having this problem or know how to solve it? Using the single file uploader is a major pain.

FTP uploader is the easiest way to submit your files and the fastest.
Unfortunately the java uploader is not as reliable and many times we can not replicate the issues that appear at the end user no matter how many times we try.

Thanks Nikitu. Just got FTP up and running and you're right: it's a lot better.

I used to upload through the java uploader, but it is broken since some months ago. FTP is right, but sometimes files takes a lot of time to appear in the unfinished área.
I use to work with first line Nikon equipment.

I'm using the java uploader for uploading photos, but it has some compatibility problems with different browser versions. The browser always asks me to update the plugin, but I always refuse and that's how it seems to work.

Our recommendation is the FTP, which is much more reliable for uploading.

Hi

I'm just trying to use the single file uploader. I thought it had uploaded them as I located them and submitted. But over 24 hours later there's no history.

I've tried to look at FTP but couldn't find the write version for a pre-intel Mac.

Any help appreciated.

If you've just uploaded them, they should appear in your Unfinished Files. If you've already submitted them from there, they should appear in your Pending Files. If they were reviewed already, they should appear either in your Online Files, either in your Refused Files.
If they're not there either, check your History.

Thanks. It's all good. I downloaded FileZilla and managed to work it out and have now uploaded them via FTP. I don't think the single file uploader was working as there was nothing in my 'Unfinished Files'.

I'm having trouble too. I uploaded a bunch of files with the single file uploader the other day and they haven't showed up in my unfinished files yet. I tried the multiple file uploader and keep getting a technical error.

I tried the FTP uploader and that worked. I needed to download FileZilla (they had other options too) and then followed their instructions. It wasn't that complicated. Best of luck.
