Ok, so I gotta know... How did everyone come up with their user names? I want a cool name!!! Mine is so plain. Can I change it? Ha! I guess I'm good.

Seems like everyone is called something cool... Nikitu, Sophieso, Raycan, Achilles.. I've seen so many good ones! What made you pick your user names? Is there a story behind it?

I came up with mine because I was signing up on yahoo messenger and every other name in the world was taken .. so after 30 mins of going through names I tried fotoeye and it worked .. then I forgot my password and the send password to email function was jacked up so I had to come up with a new account all over again so I just stuck 75 at the end since I was born in 75.

Well, my name is Bob and I come from Wyoming.

I tried to get WyomingBob or wyobob on my first ISP, but they were taken. But bobwyo is a good third choice.

Anyone know if one can change their name here? This is the only place I use my current name; and I would really like to bring it in line with the rest of the internet!

As for where this one comes from ... simply my real name, nothing fun, nothing interesting, nothing exciting, , ,,, ,,, oops, I fell asleep, sorry.

Kerioak is my Kennel Club Affix (affix - affixed to the name of every dog the holder breeds or owns (and pays for every year to be able to keep using the name whether they breed or not !) )

I started using it as my ID on Dobermann sites and it has become so much part of me over the years that it was natural to use it when I joined photography sites as well.

There Is No Square is my business name. The idea was an amalgamation of two things.

We've all heard the saying "Think outside the square". I didn't want to just think outside the square, I wanted there to be no square.

That is very much in line with a quote from The Matrix when Neo is visiting the Oracle where all the Buddhist monk children are bending spoons. One of them says to Neo: "Do not try to bend the spoon--that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth... That there is no spoon".

Yeah, there is no square, but only the Thereisnosquare. ;D Nice story, I love The Matrix - great film!

When I was a kid we used to play a game of what words would sound like if they were spelled backwards.

Neelrad is my first name backwards (Darleen).

Mine I've had since 1994 when I first joined with AOL. At the time Windows wasn't quite a big hit and everyone was using DOS. With DOS operating systems you can't have more than 8 letters to a file name so I had to come up with something that meant something to me with 8 letters or less.

At the time I was an "analyst" under contract with Citibank.

So if you sound out the name it says

N-L-I zer

Analyzer

The problem is everyone assumes I'm either Liz or that I'm male. My name isn't Liz and I'm not male.
