WOOD DECK Photos Needed!

I do a lot of design work for the wood restoration industry. Sometimes clients have photos of their own work, but many do not. I am in need of quality photos of wood decks (preferably with an emphasis on the wood as opposed to furniture). Not only would I download a lot of these frequently, but I believe their is a ton of people out there looking for these kind of shots.

The color of the wood isn't real important as long as it appears smooth and in decent condition.

See what you can do and thank you!

I'll work on it. I can probably take some and put them up for review by this weekend.

Thanks, Astargirl, feel free to take as many angles (wide, tight, close-up. perspective, etc.) as you want, I'll probably need them all!

I have an image of a circular wooden deck by the sea (For diving off of I think) but it's not been uploaded yet, would it be of any use to you?

Thanks, Phakimata & Tonygers, but allow me to clarify. I am looking for shots that fit the "American Dream", "White Bread Backyard" (so to speak) look. Similar to what you might see on a Thompson's Water Seal commercial. Very suburban.

Kbkgraphx - are you looking for wood only or are you also looking also for synthetic deck materials as well? Are you looking for pure redwood or treated lumber (i.e. green wood)? Is your emphasis on the deck itself or on joints and construction techniques?

I have a friend that is in the trades and may have access to some various shots - just not sure about the time of year (it's getting cold here in Colorado) :-)

Thanks!
I prefer using Canon products. Principally, I use Canon dig...

Wysiwygfoto: emphasis on the deck itself. Preferably redwood, but can be weathered and gray as long as wood is smooth/good condition.

Overall: imagine the photo that would be needed to show a homeowner how great a backyard deck can look (i.e. spacious, quality construction, etc.)

See www.wolman.com to see what I mean (the rotating photos on homepage). They don't need to have people in them though.

Luckynick: nice, but too artistic.

Saorsa: "serenity" is getting closer, but with emphasis on the deck, not the view.

What about a cabin, or are you looking for more of a desk close-up?

Deck, decks, decks! Doesn't have to be a close-up, just with the deck as the emphasis. Deck attached to a normal suburban house (with vinyl/aluminum siding). Thank you!

PS: I use a lot of log cabin photos too, but have already downloaded most of the good ones (i.e. look new, finished wood)

I can't seem to find anything along the lines of your request in the queues. There are a lot of modern homes in my neighborhood with wooden decks. I will shoot some this weekend and get them uploaded. Perhaps some other contributors will do the same.
