Good news for contributors, an image level update for is scheduled on November 1, here are the details:
Old levels:

Starting with the same date, subscription royalties are increased to $0.30 per download ($0.36 to exclusive images or exclusive photographers).
Price of subscriptions and price of credits will remain unchanged.
This change should produce a significant increase in royalties/image for all photographers who have images with more than 10 downloads each. Depending on the popularity of the image as well as the number of popular images compared to the total size of the portfolio, the increase of your monthly revenue can be up to 30-50% or even higher in some particular cases.
While this update shouldn't affect buyers significantly, as many images will be available at the same prices, we believe it will motivate photographers once more for producing better quality. |

That's a great update, for all contributers I imagine.
Going from needing 25 downloads to reach Level 2, to needing just 10 will automatically upgrade a LOT of images... not to mention all the assignment files will now be Level 5!

Lovely! Better quality is the right emphasis... and the ultimate cause for income increase. As we're all cheering for the levels update - let's not forget the quality. :)

Is that really mean that assignments will be level 5 or for assignment you put 50 DL instead of 100 (the image will remain in Level 4)? |

Images for assignment that are escalated will receive the 100 downloads as before and become level 5 images. |

indeed great. 25 was a little too much for most images, 10 is much more reachable.
Also Tnx for the 0.30$ instead of $0.25 $0.25 was the lowest payout of the big five .. and this did hurt sometimes :o) With $0.30 you're level with the other agancies. |
