As you already probably noticed, the uploads are temporarily disabled, either via single-image-upload or the FTP upload. We expect to have them back up and running tomorrow at the latest. However, you can still upload via FTP, but the files will be imported into the site only when single-image-upload is restored too.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This is a great opportunity to go out and shoot more photos, or create more illustrations! Process those images that have been sitting on your harddrive! That's what i'm doing today, since I'm home sick from work anyway. :( Stomach bugs are the worst..

Yes everything is back to normal. We have re-enabled the site upload and imported all images uploaded by FTP.

Same here.
Pictures do appear to get uploaded, but show as a small red "x" next to their title.
Is this just a minor visual issue and can we continue uploading, or, is something still the matter and should we head out fishing today instead of uploading? ;-)
thanks for your answer and keep up the good work,
Alain.

I uploaded a photo that had a red X and no thumbnail last week. It got rejected for 'poor composition'! Would that be because you didn't actually have a picture to review??

I'm not sure if the issue still remains or not, but I uploaded a bunch of photos last night using FTP. They showed up in my 'unfinished images' section, but without its thumbnail. I have continued the process but now that I look the thumbnails are still not visible. Should I upload again?

Thanks for any advise,
Paul.
