Andrea Petrlik Huseinović was born in 1966 in Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated Graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She is the illustrator and the author. They have been translated and published into several foreign languages (Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Korean, French, German, Italian, Hebrew, Persian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Spanish and Slovenian). Her originals from the picture books The Blue Sky and Alice in Wonderland are a part of the International Collection of Chihiro Art Museum in Japan. Andrea Petrlik Huseinovic’s picture book Maleni has been marked for Top 10 International Books selection within Russian Literary Award ‘The Book of the Year - Children’s Selection 2012' as a part of the international award Children’s Choice. In 2008, on the occasion of the World Book and Copyright Day - April, the 23rd, UNESCO chose for a poster one of her illustrations. Until today, she illustrated more than sixty picture books, not only for Kasmir promet, Zagreb, but also for British and American publishers: Top That Publishing, Ladybird, Scholastic, Tyndale, Child’s Play International etc. She collaborates with a children’s theatre group - I Theatre from Singapore. As I'm illustrator I'm working with acrylic colors on paper. All is hand made. I'm owner of publishing house Kasmir promet and I have prepress studio, 11 computor (Mac and PC) and 4 scanners.

Everything
