100 Sales!

I've been on Dreamstime just over 2 years. I started with the hope of making a decent living at stock photography, but have found that it takes a lot of effort and a lot of time - with really delayed gratification.

Today I've sold my 100th image, an editorial image.

Our area was hit by baseball size hail, and of course I toured the town with my camera to capture some of the damage.

My own truck and travel trailer were damaged horribly. Our yard was pummeled as well.

I've learned a lot over the past 2 years - and being a stock photo contributor has forced me to improve my craft and raise my standards! While I'm not getting rich, I do appreciate the education I'm receiving as a contributor.

So here's to 100 sales - CHEERS! - and I hope, with improved skills and a better understanding of what the customers want, the next 100 will take less than 2 years to achieve!

Glad to hear everything is working out. I was at the Jersey shore during Sandy it was heartbreaking to see such loss and devastation.

Thank you. Hail damage is a pain, but it will be OK. It's been wonderful watching this small community come together to help each other. Social Media has been a real bonus - people connecting for help, for recommendations for repair companies, and information on claims. It's amazing.
