Anything common ?

See anything common in the pictures above?

I don’t see anything common, but these are the pictures that are thrown up when I was searching for a picture with the keyword Bracket.

There were many more funny pictures which has nothing to do with a Bracket, but I have not listed out all.

Applying the right keyword is very important not only for your picture, but it also helps in avoiding other’s picture getting lost in these maze of improper keywording.

How does these wrong keywords come in?

For example the clock below is hung on a bracket and hence the keyword Bracket is appropriate.

But what happens is that others who upload a picture of a clock blindly copy the keywords without checking if there is a bracket in the picture.

I would suggest that all contributors have a proper look at the keywords before submitting, so that all will benefit from it.

I'm new, but I agree that relative key words are very important, I'm learning lots....both of what to do, and what not to do. I need to learn lots more, but I am learning key word importance. :D Great article/comment/blog.

If you check and see what key words were used to purchase one of your images you will find that most of the key words you or I have in our listings are not even used. If the key word is not DIRECTLY RELEVANT to the image, .... well, just do not add it to the description. Make it easyer for the buyer and you. Just my thoughts. -Larry

Hmm, interesting. I can see that bracket would apply to the clock and the internet cam...but as for the others? Nope.

Hmmm... almost makes you wonder if the word bracket has some other meaning, maybe a case of wrong translation?
