500 images goal after Iceland trip!

I'm glad I reached the goal of 500 uploaded images, utilising the last fifty pictures taken this summer during a trip to Iceland. For those, like me, does not have the courage to face the exploration of the interior of this magnificent volcanic island with a jeep and hiking equipment, remains the option of simply doing the island tour with a regular car. I think most of the Iceland attractions can be seen even just doing this ride along almost the entire circumference of the island.Arriving... continue reading

Tradition of medieval nativity scenes

It is a tradition in the small towns and villages of Italy to organize nativity scenes during the Christmas until January 6, the day of Epiphany. These nativities are often in "medieval style". In the village of Canale Monterano, about 50 km north of Rome, this year the nativity scene has been prepared within the ruins of the homonymous old medieval town. The atmosphere was very impressive, the costumes of the figures very beautiful, and the old church next to the village, illuminated with various... continue reading

Sale number 200 !..

With this sold image my sales have reached 200!It was taken in the village of Santa Gertrudis, located in the hinterland of the island of Ibiza. The image falls into a category of pictures very simple, but I think very effective because they create in the viewer the concept of a potential desire. When I took this picture I thought it would be nice for me to be sitting there on one of the two chairs and enjoy the walking below. I wonder if the buyer thought the same thing! Many thanks to the... continue reading

Wow! Today my image has been approved for "assignments"!!. I'm very happy because, this is the first time for me!So I would like to tell something more about that picture:The rider dressed as Native American, with a gun in his hand, takes part in a commemoration of Old West organized by the "Butteri" of the Tuscan Maremma in Italy.Tireless guardians of the herds and custodians of traditions of Tuscany “Maremma”:this is the main task of “Butteri”, the cowboys of the coastof... continue reading

My hundredth image has been sold!

Today I reached my goal of 100 images sold, and I am very happy for this! This my hundredth image has been sold with 11 credits. I noticed that sales have resumed in May, perhaps with a lower rate than in the past, but the average selling price has increased at a level that seems more appropriate. The image refer to an aircraft exibition in June 1 2008, andincludes “four shots” in a sequence, which reproduce the evolutions of a military helicopter during a national manifestation.... continue reading

200th upload today!

Today has been the accepted the 200th image of my portfolio. It is a view from the back of the big statues of Jesus and the apostles who are placed on top of the facade of the basilica of San Pietro in Rome. The view from behind of these statues is an unusual image as well as my image number 199: a drinking fountain which is located to the side of the basilica adorned by emblems of the pope.I find interesting to walk in familiar places often finding images of things not... continue reading

100 images online today!!!...

As I have now reached the milestone of 100 images online, I want to tell you my story with Dreamtimes.Long time ago, in December 2007, being intrigued by the possibility to sell images online, I decided to submit a series of photos on this site. To be precise, I uploaded about 15 photos. I thought they were very nice, mostly related to shooting pictures of plants and vegetation covered by ice and snow.I remember that I spent a long time to set up those images, to generate the keywords and to... continue reading
