When I shot this photo, conditions were quite poor. Light was low, it even started to rain. The deer is in an enclosure. Luckily there is no fence in the photo. I have an old but very decent Nikon Zoom (80 ... 200 mm, 2.8 the whole range, but without VR) which I used at a focal length of 200 mm and an aperture of 2.8. Starting with Microstock Photography

For much of my life I had been a hobby photographer. Until mid of 2007 I was using old style analogue films with my Nikon D90X. But then we decided to visit the relatives of my wife in China. I thought, it is now high time to switch to digital photography. And I bought a Nikon D200.
