Today, six of my photos, series of "Modern Living in Australia" were sold.Hope architectural photos are still in demand. All the shots were taken on moving boat. I was lucky enough because it was a bright sunny day that allow me to shoot with reasonably fast speed (1/500), Aperture f/8.0 and ISO 100.All shoots were in RAW mode and post processing in LR.Thank you very much. continue reading
Dear all,Few silly questions here.I like to try product photography lately. What I heard is all light sources have to be same temperature/color.1)So I would like to know is there any impact of lighting (if they are in different temp/color) in final image if I shoot in RAW mode and adjust the white balance in photo-shop light-room?2)On the lamp, color temperature is mentioned as 5500K but how do I know it is really 5500K? Is there any way to check this?3) Anyway to shoot so that background... continue reading
Hi friends,First of all l would like to say that I am not (NOT) a pro but just a hobbyist and still learning. But let me share some tips that I think may be useful for someone like me.I happened to read this book, "Taking Stock: Make money in microstock creating photos that sell" by Rob Sylvan. It says many good points and some of these are images with fringe will straightaway go into trash.Under or over expose images are most probably won't be selected. by looking at the... continue reading
Went to Perth last week and have some pictures. First I took out my smart phone and browse Dreamstime.com and look for that image. Almost the same but how to prove that is belong to me because there are many similar photo on this topic.Later on at editor page found my... continue reading
Just a hobbyist, without tons of uploaded images, several images still being rejected by DT,earning a little more than usual make me jump, jump and jump.I don't have good sales in 2013. One of the reasons I believe is I quit as an exclusive contributor end of last year and sales drop abruptly. Before that I have a quite stable sales monthly but not much. Later then I come back as an exclusive member again. (DT management is kind enough to accept me back. Thanks guys :D)Quite disappointed... continue reading
