Every beginner in photography does one mistake which professionals don't like i.e. keeping subject in the center of the frame. He must have been bombarded of advice for not doing that mistake again by senior colleagues.Centered place in the frame is considered having less visual attention of the viewer. A subject in center divides the frame equally & may confuse the viewers eyes where to look at? This offers a less visual weight to the subject. As soon as subject is moved from the center of the... continue reading
The idea to capture this shot illustrating visual pun was playing in my mind from many days. I was unable to find the way to execute it without any accident & damage. I am not a great photoshop expert so it was not easy for me. Finally I did it using multiple exposure trick. I had used it very first time & really enjoyed it.The details about the procedure are as:1. I placed a paper in the background & on a box with my CD/DVD driver on it.2. I used a flash for background on camera left... continue reading

There may be number of reasons like the situation doesn't permit, limitation of lens zoom, the shortage of time to frame properly etc. My best advice to novice photographer always is take a breath & stop for 1 second before pressing the shutter button on the camera. After that do the followings:1. Look along all the corners & frame of your viewfinder & think once is it all... continue reading

I was willing to purchase a macro lens from many days, was unable to afford but finally I have recently purchased new macro lens which is Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USMI really love closeup & macro photography. Before purchasing this specialized lens I was using some local closeup filters with diopter +1,+2,+4 & +10. These filters were helping me to go close but it's really difficult to obtain quality photographs. Especially with +10 one gets very high distortion in corners, purple fringing,low... continue reading
