Hi, I'm a bit longer than 4 years on Dreamstime, and began to receive comments about old pictures with zero sales. If you don't know yet, what it's about, I explain: to keep the database clear, DT offers to disable, re-keyword on paid basis or donate for free the images which were not sold for the period of 4 years. You have 30 days to take desicion after such a note.I think, it's a good idea to delete what is not in demand and give way to fresh works. When I began to check the pictures I... continue reading

Hello!A while ago I asked advise on this board from people using various fish-eye lenses, which of them was better, becuase I planned to buy a suspiciously cheap one from ebay. Here is the discussion. Now I can say that I made an experiment: my cheap (about 30$ including delivery) Bower fish-eye macro arrived and I even made few shots with it. Here is my impression. This "lense" resembles a big fillter consisting of several parts and is to be used on top of a normal lense. I use it with Canon... continue reading
I recently bought a new 80x80cm light cube. Before I tried different sizes, but 150x150cm was too big for my room and 60x60cm - too small for most of objects I planned to shoot. 80x80 is perfect size!I also tried to build light cubes from tripods and paper, but the construction wasn't too stable, occupied much space and took forever to be removed and placed back. The real light cube can be folded and unfolded in seconds - another advantage.I'm so happy now! Isolation is no more a problem,... continue reading
Hi, Friends!I was searching today for something useful on auctions trying to spend my money from Moneybookers :)) And saw a lot of fisheye lenses with macro for Canon starting from 25$ up to 45. They were all with auto focus, but in my country this particular sort of cheap fish-eye is not available in normal shops. So there is no opportunity to try if they are worth using for microstock or not. Here is the description I found:FISHEYE 0.42XWITH MACRO +14Professional Fisheye and Macro... continue reading

Hi :)Recently I tried child photography, and now feel very excited about this nieche. Kids are so cute! When you shoot or portprocess their images your eyes are resting. You never get really tired looking at a child's innocent face.I made my pictures in the natural light with only a small on-camera flash. The difficulties were the following: kids were all the time moving and had a habbit to turn away from camera :) Of course, it was very hard to explain them the importance of keeping... continue reading
