Had a nice sale today for this photo - "Running Out of Time". This has been one of my best-selling images, created in 2007 as an assignment photo, illustrating climate change/global warming. I find it rather prophetic that the last year I chose to include in the running count is "2015"! continue reading

A year ago I decided to donate whatever funds I made from selling microstock images to women entrepreneurs in third world countries. I do this by lending money through microloans at Kiva.org. It's time for the Farmer's Market. One of my favorite places to photograph, I always look for a local outdoor market when I'm traveling. With artfully displayed local produce, lively conversation and wandering musicians, the market is a great place to capture microstock images ... and people watch!Quotes of the day:"Did you ever stop to taste a carrot? Not just eat it, but taste... continue reading

Shadows playing across the warm mud walls, white lace curtains and the simple solitude of early morning hours before tourists begin populating the neighborhood, allowed me to capture the charm of Santa Fe."Boston for beans, Seattle for rain, San Francisco for bridges, and Santa Fe for a long, far look at what God made." ~ Home Country, Ernie PyleSee... continue reading
