Common Image Defects

Blurry Images:Blurry images are the cause of camera shakes. While shooting with lower shutter speed the images often get blurry even if there is a slight shake of the camera. To take sharp images and avoid blur, take support of what ever help that is available i.e use a tripod, lean against a wall, lie down on your elbows, use anything that is available. How to check your camera sensor for the presense of dust.

My technique to check my camera sensor for the presence of dust.Pre-requisites1. A white paper sheet.Steps1. Set the white sheet on a table.2. Mark a black spot(with a marker) on the sheet.3. Fix the camera on the tripod.4. Set the camera to it's minimum aperture(for mine f22).5. Focus on the black dot and take the picture.6. Some of my views to avoid equipment disaster.

1. Most of the equipment disasters occur on the tripod. So make sure, that the tripod is properly balanced and you have the right tripod.2.
