My first editorial image accepted

My first editorial image was accepted today. It's one of a series of 20 new statues in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia Phanatic is the mascot for the Philadelphia Phillies (winners of the 2008 World Series!!). This year, 20 of these Phanatic statues were created and are displayed all over the city. Finding inspiration

A few days ago, someone asked about where to get inspiration. To me, there are a lot of places. I've been a DT buyer for 4 years...I haven't bought a lot -- about 120 images, mostly of which are used in a medical-type newsletter. I've reached level 2!!

I'm sooo happy. I've been actively (sort-of) uploading since January and I've hit level 2 in 4 months. Not too shabby. I just wish I had more time for photography and illustration!! My first sale!!

I am just so excited -- I got my first sale!! I logged on tonight and saw that my earnings went from 14 cents (I've been suggesting keywords) to 49 cents.I've had a DT account for 5 years and have been a buyer off and on...using mostly real estate and medical images. About a month ago I decided to invest in a digital camera and start taking and uploading pictures. Well...I've had success.
