I've recently started trying my hand at photographing the wildlife here in Britain, not the easiest thing to do well. The main ingredients I have found to half decent images are research, planning, time/patience, equipment and the quality of light. If your ticking all or most of these things then your doing well. So I have decided to create the ULTIMATE British wildlife collection, if you would like to have images considered for this collection then please add your ID numbers... continue reading

As a photographer I tend to find that my creative side seems to go up and down, some days I'm full of ideas and other days everything seems to be overdone and there's nothing new and exciting to shoot. So around a year ago or so I saw a video on Youtube of a pro stock photographer shooting a fast jet, tonnes of gear and a team of people behind him to produce one shot. I thought that looks fun and I'm always looking to try new things, now I do not have a team of... continue reading

Ok, for ages I have toyed with the idea of trying out macro photography.Normally I end up leaving this thought on the back burner thinking it's a lot of trouble to photograph bugs.Any hows today I stumbled across this great video by Thomas Shahan's videoon shooting bugs, his results are pretty amazing and would be a very good bench mark of quality to aim for if your thinking of selling bug photo's on DT.Many of his pictures can be seen here on his website : Thomas Shahan bug pic's.... continue reading
I have today carried out a search of my images using Google's image search.Found lots being used with watermarks and subsequently used DT's "report misuse" tab in the management area, you should do the same if you find infringements. One blogger responded me today, apparently she's an author...here's her response:"I pull all my photos from the photosite Dreamstime. On each photo there is an option, "click for comp image." I apologize if this is upsetting but your issue should be with... continue reading
