I started to take photo seriously in 2009 shooting sky objects (which my PF started with). Then I extended my interest to other subjects.

Yesterday 3 years passed since my registration on DT. I have got some stats that could be of interest for others, so let me share some of my figures with you.
This summer I spent two wonderful weeks at the Seliger Lake (Russia, 400 km to the NW from Moscow). Some nights I made a shots of starry sky and each morning I checked if it's a mist over the lake.
I passed three important milestones for last 2 weeks:1) 2000th $ in my pocket coming from DT (August 22nd).2) 1000th day with DT (August 24th).3) 1000th sale (2nd Sept, right away).

I have read stories on downloads that had been happened in a couple of hours after approval. Nothing of the kind happened to me, so far. My record is 6 days between approval and first sale.
Today my second year with DT is over. It is a good time to have a look back to see what has been done for this second year.So, I have 431 images online +42 which I disabled or donated to free section.

Funny thing happened to me yesterday. I visited an exhibition on telecommunications in Moscow (it was needed for my regular job). It was a large exhibition which occupied 3 enormous halls.
I told you some time ago that being inspired by Alek Kringstad (Kringstad) who wrote an excellent blog on handmade cheap lightbox (you can read it here), I made my own one.
So, finally I have made cardboard lightbox with walls and "ceiling" of tracing paper. Also I bought 3 cheep lamps and 3 x 6450K bulbs. Toytal price for all the equipment is $30.
