Tomorrow I'm having a deep tissue treatment with an "intuitive" healer. I've been living with an injury I sustained about 4 months ago while transitioning from a bound lunge into a bound triangle. These last three weeks I finally stopped going to class and focused my yoga practice on cooling the injured leg and that has made a big improvement. Hopefully tomorrows experience will completely release whatever happened there. I'm also looking forward to someone focusing all their energy on me. I am feeling so discombobulated and disconnected lately. I really need to figure out how to get back on the joy ride. I seem to be getting on all the wrong rides! There's got to be a shift somewhere I can take... And then I start dreaming of the desert; I mean, the faraway desert... Soon my ticket to Timbuktu will arrive. I'll be crossing the Saharan desert to be reunited with my lost soul.

And I'll leave before my cluttered heart knows what happened...!

Though, considering everyone I've known who has attempted to escape or evade the heart, I realize that the heart will always find you.

It will never let you go.

Here's an interesting book I read recently that motivated my interest in bodyworkers: "Groundworks: Narratives of Embodiment" by Don Hanlon Johnson:

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I love your work, and your blog here makes me think of an illustrated version of The Alchemist that came out a few years ago. It gives a very similar feeling.

How was your treatment?
Hope you get reconnected - if a few words of encouragement can help, I love your portfolio!!

Thank You!
