Climate change caused extreme weather

Sad photos are coming from Hungary in this article.

As you maybe knows, Eastern-Middle Europe faced with heavy rainstorms and flooding rivers in last few weeks (not only Hungary, but Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, too). News were full with photos about broken trees, people with sandbags, damaged buildings and bridges, flooding water and gumboots at these days - and it's not over yet.

In my country, about 2,000 citizens are evacuated from flooded houses and thousands of people with firefighters and soldiers packed sandbags at northeastern region. In Budapest, Danube reaches hights of 827cm in the middle of week - the embankment had to be closed to traffic as well as several parts of the public transport network.

The flood has caused an estimated 300 million Euros in damage to the country's agriculture so far. Our modern and enlightened society should think about preferences of living - should we use less hard energy, water and polluting natural resources? Should we change our mind to "fix" our nature and weather in an acceptable level?

P.S.: as always, there is someone who happy with that situation...this cute dog played almost an hour in cold water! :)

These climate changes had hit many parts of the world! In Portugal we had a tragedy in Madeira isle as well! Hope this won't be repeated often!

Hi Aginger, I am not shure, but I think that it is possible to leave a comment for the reviewer in that you can ask for extra fast reviewing... maybe it helps to get images reviewed faster in special circumstances... yb the way: nice pictures :)

You're right. I placed them Editorial because I hoped the're reviewed faster as these'ree present shots and maybe sell better...but DT rewiewed them within 3-4 days. :(
So next batch will be RF, as not urgent anymore.

Hi! Why placing them all as Editorial? Ok they are news but can also fit as normal RF no?
