Designers daring to make photographs... apologies :-) - Dreamstime
Me and my wife Estela, working for years in the design vector. As a general rule we used the photos as a base material to work on vectors.
One day my wife asked me ... Why not try to send some of the pictures we took at home?
We tried sending a picture of a walk in Piriapolis, (one traditional holiday site the east coast of Uruguay)
Shame Gave us post it on our main account. So we created a second account on behalf of Estela.
To our complete surprise, not only the picture, was not rejected, someone (totalmete beside himself, of course) decided it was useful image and choose to buy.
So suddenly we found that our vacation photos, taken with a pocket compact machine, they had a sale.
So we decided to take the next step, buy our first dslr, a Canon EOS Rebel T3 and start to take pictures seriously.
We know we still have a lot to learn about photography.
But these are our first pictures on the theme of Christmas, taken in the light box that we built in our little design studio.
And finally we have concentrate all our images, vectors and photos on the main account. The other account is abandoned and only anecdote... its function was to encourage us to take a new path and provide more value to our portfolio.
Thanks to Dreamstime, we have discovered a new area of activity that keep creating and expressing concepts.
