Dialogue With My Better Self

Since I have been sick and home couple of days, and today was my last day at home, I decided to have some fun with my camera, and try long, very long shutter speeds. My exploration ended up with this image... huh, I can't include it to the post... well, it is now on my profile page.

You can see the larger version here: www.maigi.com

The camera was set for a long shutter speed of 30 seconds. And I was running around the table.

Well, not exactly running, but sitting in one place, counting to 15 and switching places.

Sometimes they call it ghost photos.

Since I have to include to my post at least one image from DT, I'll pick this one of Cathy.

It's kinda an experiment too, depicting playful side of photography...

Well, I removed this image from my DT profile page, but you can still see it on my personal web page: www.maigi.com

Ellen, Nikola, thank you! :)

Very rare and unusual = great!

This is very interesting. I think you should continue to explore this technique!

Thanks Tamer! It's a lot of fun to explore the boundaries of my camera.

I'm glad that you god well. This image is very interesting. Good bye...

LOL... you never know... Glad to see you, Imago! :)

Thank you, guys! Your comments are very encouraging. So, it's good to be home for a while and make some fun experiments. :) Did somebody ask me, what we were talking about? Well, I tried to convince her to sign a model release, but didn't succeed... Maybe I wasn't persuasive enough...

Nice view of your two selves - love your "ghostly" image! Thanks for telling me about my eggs photo being a Members' Choice!

:) b

I love your "ghostly" image, Maigi... I've always wanted to try one of those ! Well done ! and thank you for adding my pic to your blog, appreciate it! :O)

How creative! When I look at some of the things that are dreamed up by so many of the contributors here, it makes me want to ask where I can get some of that "creative juice". Good job.

beautifull shoot!

great abstract shoot

Maigi, you look exactly as I imagined :). And wowwwwwwwww, there's two of youuuu!!! Lovely. And what have you been talking about girls? :P :)

Thank you, Eti!

Love it! Nicely done and it has a genuine ghostly look. Sometimes the most meaning conversations come from talking to ourselves!
