Dream about your sales

Whether you are a professional photographer or an amateur photographer, rating of your sales depends on the needs of the consumers. It does not matter if you have 1000 photographs and can not sell anything.

In terms of selling strategies, selling a product consists of two main functions: 1) tactics and strategy. Sales strategy is the planning of sales activities: methods of reaching clients, competitive differences and resources available. Tactics involves the day-to-day selling: prospecting, sales process, and follow-up.

The tactics of selling are very important but equally vital is the strategy of sales. The advantages are too compelling to ignore.

So, in order to have higher sales in dreamstime you should know the methods of reaching the clients.

Hello Hakan, I was execpting some sales ideas from you at the end of the blog, explain to us, how you plan your strategies, and what tactics you implement to sell more images, I guess like me many DT users waiting for tips on this.


Very interesting view on sales. I'm glad it works both ways. Most of us photographers enjoy our photography as a hobby or side business. DT has given us an outlet to sale some of those creative images online and we are glad to receive sales from them. I think that's the best selling strategy for some hobbyist turned professional. Not the best plan but definitely not the worst.

The harder I work at this the lucker I get.
