I used to be a below average photographer with many photo's taken in a way the average tourist would take.
Joy and pleasure which I got from my results made me more eager to improve my skills, so a couple of years ago I decided to invest some money and buy a SLR camera.
This really increased the 'fun factor' and made more and more pictures. Then on a sudden moment a mere 18 months ago somebody told me about Dreamstime, a site on the web where you can upload your best pictures and actually make money with those pictures.
Full of convidence you start to create an account and look around the site, and learn that there is quite some room for improvement. After my first uploads at DT, where obviously also pictures got rejected, I started to feel hungry to improve further. Now I have more pictures online, some of which are really nice and July actually brought me my first sale!
The addiction of Dreamstime is taking me, everywhere I look I start to think of possible pictures and how to create nice photo's of it. I'm working hard on getting more than 50 photo's online, so that I can become a Dreamstime Exclusive.
To achieve this I will have to improve further in my overall quality and skills. Looking at the uploads from other Photographers is one way to do it, look what they did and learn from it. Sometimes you even can try to create similar pictures. By doing this you are already learning again.
Ohhh yes I like it here! For me the keywords of Dreamstime are : addiction, skills, improvement and above all fun.
And fun I surely do have here!
